Well, if someone watched "The Ring", then they can more or less expect the direction this story will go. I got this one some time ago as a gift and out of curiosity, decided to check what the hell this actually is. What I've found made my jaw drop. Satanic Corpse is a one-woman project, founded in 2006, by a female with a cute name Belita Adair with the aim to play Black Metal. Let's begin with the biography.

Raised by a single mother, who was a Las Vegas perfomer, along with her older sister, who practised paganism and wicca. Psychologists were doing some tests on her, as her autism exhibited some uncanny, mathematic skills. As Belita says herself, the scientists tried to use her talents to improve atomic bombs...

She started her career at the end of the '80s with a peculiar single, where she played spiritual Rock with chants dedicated to whales. At some point she survived clinical death, which made her make a 180 degree turn and have her return as a satanic zombie. She started a church of satan, and also did some naughty photos, as well as of course, recording music, which could be considered "outsider", about which below. After some years, her body contracted some illness due to allergy and started to literally rot.

Not quite sure what really happened to her, or if she still lives, as there are many rumors about her, but as far as I know, she lives with her paganic sister. There's only like few videos on youtube where you can witness the madness with your own eyes. There are also some other materials spread elsewhere on the web, some of them you might need waybackmachine to access (a link to one of them I've found in a single review on rateyourmusic - yuck, what a terrible website, not recommended).

Her most known album, of which you can see the cover above, was later reissued by Ukrainian label called Propaganda, and that's quite a combo. The music itself is pretty unorthodox, not much Metal, and more Avantgarde. There are chants, prayers, piano, and audio effects. It's not bad, but indeed, the main contributing factor lies in its otherwordly, bizarre personality. The easiest comparison would be to The Residents.

I do not want to have you on my consciousness, nor to have you die 7 days after listening to her music, so you can search for her at your own risk.
